„Oil on linen“ is a series of still life paintings I started with in 2014 and worked on for the best part of 2016.
All pictures are painted from life. It was a time-consuming project, for I had to keep buying fresh fruits. In addition painting from life is more challenging. I completed one piece a month on average.
But it’s worth doing it because you can really pick up skills.

Looking back, this project was an important step in terms of quality. I developed my own technique and therefore learned a lot about how to paint in oil.
